Quote of the Day

The PTA Disbands9

“Talking out of turn, that’s a paddling.  Looking out the window, that’s a paddling.  Staring at my sandals, that’s a paddling.  Paddling the school canoe?  Oh, you better believe that’s a paddling.” – Jasper

Wow, this blog’s been around almost four years and you’ve just now gotten to one of the most classic quotes ever said on the show? Just goes to show how many amazing lines there have been over eight/nine years of gold.

It’s a great bit, but it’s made YouTube comments on Simpsons videos nearly unbearable.

A great line, oft repeated on the World Wide Internet even in this day and age by tweens and spleens alike, from Reddit to YouTube. Shows to go how much this show still rings around the rosy in peo’s minds today.

Useful Legal Tidbit

Even though it’s obvious to anyone with a functional frontal lobe and a shred of morality, we feel the need to include this disclaimer. This website (which openly advocates for the cancellation of a beloved television series) is in no way, shape or form affiliated with the FOX Network, the News Corporation, subsidiaries thereof, or any of Rupert Murdoch’s wives or children. “The Simpsons” is (unfortunately) the intellectual property of FOX. We and our crack team of one (1) lawyer believe that everything on this site falls under the definition of Fair Use and is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. No revenue is generated from this endeavor; we’re here because we love “The Simpsons”. And besides, you can’t like, own a potato, man, it’s one of Mother Earth’s creatures.
