Run a Simpsons site or Twitter account? Let us know!
Even though it’s obvious to anyone with a functional frontal lobe and a shred of morality, we feel the need to include this disclaimer. This website (which openly advocates for the cancellation of a beloved television series) is in no way, shape or form affiliated with the FOX Network, the News Corporation, subsidiaries thereof, or any of Rupert Murdoch’s wives or children. “The Simpsons” is (unfortunately) the intellectual property of FOX. We and our crack team of one (1) lawyer believe that everything on this site falls under the definition of Fair Use and is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. No revenue is generated from this endeavor; we’re here because we love “The Simpsons”. And besides, you can’t like, own a potato, man, it’s one of Mother Earth’s creatures.
This is the greatest Halloween episode of them all, and anyone who says differently is itchin’ fer a fight.
Although my favorite Treehouse line of all time is still from the King Kong segment:
“Hey, I hear we’re goin’ to Ape Island.”
“Yeah, to capture a giant ape.”
“I wish we were going to Candy Apple Island.”
“Candy Apple Island? What do they got there?”
“Apes. But they’re not so big.”
Why that crack me so consistently up I don’t know, but it does.
(Sorry if I’m stepping on your gig there, with the quote)
I always wuss out and can’t pick a favorite, but this one is just amazing. I just love this quote because you get the feeling that this is what Skinner really would do if he didn’t have to care about the children’s health and safety.
Another joke that is funny for reasons I cannot quite determine: Burns getting gassed and wandering around while deliriously singing a lighthearted song.
I just remembered that he threw the gas and was poisoned due to his own weakness.
