    Is it me or does Ruth look like Jay Sherman’s wife, Ardeth, from “The Critic”?

        No, it’s something about Ruth’s expression…and the fact that Al Jean and Mike Reiss worked on “The Critic” (which explains that crossover episode that Matt Groening disowned).
