twin peaks was a series i was too young to appreciate (and watch).
Like the Simpsons, i think it also disrupted what American (and Canadian) audiences expected from their TV entertainment.
I would really like to watch this series. Too bad it’s not on (Canadian) netflix. I guess I’ll need to buy the series on DVD.
Twin Peaks was good, but Football In The Groin had a football in the groin.
also, while i did like many scenes from part 2, I also feel that it was much weaker than part 1.
case in point – where homer is making his escape from the police van with it exploding and him running off in handcuffs.
That’s a Harrison Ford Fugitive reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LF4I1S9rOo
yeah, i figured as such. still it was too “action-y” for me
“Ohh, we’re out of coffee. Ah well, I’ll just drink this warm cream.”
Hank Azaria’s rubbery Chief Wiggum voice always cracks me up on that line.
“rubbery Chief Wiggum voice”
He really does have that extra butter he puts on it when Wiggum is being extra blithe and stupid.
Okay folks, show’s over, nothing to see here, show’s – OH MY GOD A HORRIBLE PLANE CRASH
“Hey, it’s gettin’ cloudy!”
Always liked the quick to-the-side glance Eddie does when Chief Wiggum says that.
As always with this show, it’s the little things.
