Quote of the Day

“Where did the money go? Marge lost much of the family fortune investing in birth control products.” – Behind the Laughter Announcer
“I learned something. When people reach for their diaphragm, they don’t want to see my picture.” – Marge Simpson

Note: Sorry for the late quote of the day. Should have a Behind Us Forever for whatever dreck their using as a season finale tomorrow.

Dreck doesn’t even begin to describe this.

I watched this episode again recently, it’s fantastic.

Now call me dumb, but I’m not sure I fully get the joke. Is it because so many of the products she bought failed (they had three kids) so people wouldn’t want to buy anything endorsed by her? Or is it because of the weirdness of having a celebrity endorse diaphragms? Then again, Krusty has his own home pregnancy test.
