I am entirely Mr Burns in this situation.
Never understood this joke, since Ketchup or Catsup would be clearly written on Smither’s list. Still enjoyed the episode overall, though.
Actually, Smithers did write “catsup” on his list.
But I can easily picture Burns walking down the aisle in search of it, and then noticing the bottles labeled “ketchup”, which appear to be (and are) the exact same thing, then quickly becoming confused.
I do love how those store guys are able to commit people to a home
