    Classic.
    Hartman is brilliant, as usual.

    Love the deleted ending too.

    “Well, I didn’t win. Here’s your pizza.”

    “But we did win.”

“That’s okay, the box is empty.”

I think the episode would have been better with the parts that got cut (the “Homer’s head gets used as a bowling ball” part explains why Homer reappeared on Earth with his head detached from his body and the end where Lionel Hutz comes back after escaping from the bathroom window is a better punchline to the joke of Lionel Hutz leaves the trial and doesn’t come back. I don’t know about the part where Bart pesters Devil Flanders over selling his soul for a Formula-1 race car. I mean, it’s funny, but it doesn’t add much to the story).

“I’m going to prove to you not only that Freddy Quimby is guilty, but that he is also innocent of not being guilty.
