Homer does make a good point. Where was the self-defense whistle when Marge got hit on by that guy at Shotkickers on “Marge on the Lam” (a.k.a, “The loose Thelma and Louise parody episode”) or on “The Springfield Connection” (a.k.a the “Marge becomes a cop and Herman the one-armed arms dealer sells counterfeit jeans”) when Marge nearly got attacked by Snake when she cornered him in the alley? Though, on that last one, it’s probably best she didn’t have it because seeing Marge knock Snake out with a trash can lid is better in a dramatic sense.
