I like how in this scene even Ralph registers that his dad isn’t that bright. Like, he doesn’t know what the right answers are, but he’s starting to realize daddy doesn’t have them.
Ive also always thought that the Chief genuinely trying his best to be a good dad to Ralph was a nice humanizing character trait.
Good points. I rewatched this on Valentine’s Day and I liked how, despite both Lisa and Ralph getting bad (but well meaning) advice from their dads, they eventually found a way to work things out amongst themselves.
