I also loved how the blood is still dripping off Mr Burns’ fangs and Homer and Marge are still oblivious.
I like that Bart’s hair changes the same color as his pale skin.
Maybe it’s like that old cliche about someone’s hair turning white from fright/shock.
Maybe… But in “Homer’s Night Out” from season 1 Bart orders a squid platter with extra tentacles at the restaurant and the sight of it makes him turn green, including his hair. Explain that one.
Boy, I sure hope somebody was fired for that blunder!
Season 1 Weirdness.
That isn’t Bart’s skin. He’s completely covered in yellow hair, as evidenced by Lisa’s haircut in 22 Short Films About Springfield, when her head is shaved revealing her white skin underneath.
That bugged me since I first saw it in 1996. Maybe with no sunlight their skin would be white like that? But there wouldn’t really be any other visual way to show that a portion of her head was shaved.
TBH, the less attention that gets drawn to the Simpsons’ weird hairlines, the better.
So of course Zombie Simpsons went there. They have so few ideas left they’ll use ANYTHING they can, whether it’s that or the living room painting or a talking dishrag.
