Back when Moe was a sleazeball but could still occasionally get a date, unlike the lovelorn loser he became.
He owned the biggest bar in the state and had high profile celebrities playing there nightly. This episode wasnt the normal Moe.
He may have experienced greater fame and popularity, but his personality didn’t change, unless you count being greedier than normal, but even that would be a stretch.
