Quote of the Day

“Ahh, folks, we’re experiencing some moderate, Godzilla related turbulence at this time, so I’m gonna go ahead and ask you to put your seatbelts back on. When we get to 35,000 feet he usually does let go. So from there on out all we have to do is worry about Mothra, and we do have reports he’s tied up with Gamera and Rodan at the present time. Thank you very much.” – Air Japan Pilot

    We must flee!

(That, or send in King Kwyjibo to fight him off.)

Oh, and Mothra is actually supposed to be female, but they’re obviously going by the English dubbed versions of kaiju here.

What a coincidence. I was watching this one yesterday. Great episode. Just shame we got no Mr Sparkle reference.

While it would have been fantastic to see Mr. Sparkle referenced again, it would probably have distracted from the rest of the episode, as Homer would have been seen as something of a minor celebrity. Maybe the Mr. Sparkle fad had fizzled out by the time they got there.
